Collective Issues and Trade Unions

We know that employers can no longer assume that the fact that they do not recognise a trade union does not mean that they are not open to union intervention.

Employees are entitled to be represented at disciplinary and grievance hearings by trade union representatives and the statutory recognition provisions mean that all companies may be required to deal with trade unions.

We advise on union recognition requests, the establishment of information and consultation councils and provide advice on collective bargaining negotiations.

We have extensive experience in acting successfully in industrial disputes.
